Hi everyone! Today's the 1-month anniversary of my own wedding date! Going through my own wedding made me realize that all the planning, stress, and drama is totally worth it! Our wedding day was just gorgeous and I'm so happy with how everything turned out.
It re-affirms my feelings, too, that my company offers a service that is real, tangible, and definitely worth it's weight in gold! There were, of course, issues on my wedding day that popped up and I didn't know about any of them until after the honeymoon was over. I hired Mariah, Amy, and Ryan from my own team and they did a fantastic job! Apparently the ceremony flowers wouldn't stay up due to wind, the caterer did not bring any sodas (not to any fault of their own), and I had way more stuff to set up than any bride I've ever seen! They all handled it beautifully and I'm so thankful they were there to run the show. I'm so glad to know that my business is a worthwhile thing and we're making life easier for our clients!
We've only received a handful of professional photographs back from
Linda Wallace, but we love every one of them! We're anxiously awaiting the rest, but for now here's some examples:

Me & the new Husband in Old Town Alexandria after the reception

Our favors doubled as our placecards. My fabulous grandmother made all these jars for us - they're filled with homemade strawberry jam!

More photos in Old Town! This is right before we randomly saw Julie & Dave, my June 24th bride & groom! They let us take pictures on their boat - they work together on the Potomac!

We had paper parasols to give guests a little shade during our outdoor ceremony.
