Congrats to Nicole & Bob!!

Nicole and I met over a year ago and I've loved every stage of her wedding planning. She and her mom Wendy pulled off a spectacular wedding this past Saturday and I'm so glad I was able to be a part of it!

Our awesome vendors included Srinu & Amy from Regeti's Photography, Kirk from Kirkabee DJs, 5 Star Multimedia Productions, Cakes by Marida, Tom at the Hilton Washington Dulles, and Linda of Heaven on Earth Wedding Flowers.

One special touch was having their family friend sing during the dinner hour. Ram is a fantastic singer and reminds me somewhat of Michael Buble, except from New Zealand! He comes with his own mixer & CDs, which play karaoke style on the DJ's speakers, and completes the white blazer look with a handsome '40s-style floor stand microphone reminiscent of the lounge singers back in the day. Ram's live music kept dinner interesting, and he even got a couple up onto the dance floor before the main course! Email Laura if you want his contact info -- he was very cool!

Once again proving their passion for what they do, the Regeti's team captured some brilliant moments throughout the day and even had them online the day after the wedding! Here's some examples, lovingly ripped off from the Regeti's Photography's Blog:

Pastor Gysan and his wife staged a phony cell call during the ceremony! Not kidding. I'm glad Nicole & Bob have a great sense of humor!

The Hilton Washington Dulles cleans up well, don't you think?

Yummy cake from Cakes by Marida!

The party lasted until 1:00am and Kirk kept them on the dance floor!

Happily ever after :)

New Logo!

After much thought and deliberation, we are sadly parting with the cutesy Eiffel tower motif that has graced our logo for the past 2 years. That design was created by my husband in about 5 minutes and was really never intended to be the 'official' version. It did survive, though, and has continued to pop up on our website, business cards, contracts, and just about everything else!

With no further ado, behold the new logo: We're very excited to start using it although it may take a few months to catch on. Look for some exciting new website updates over this winter, where we'll incorporate the logo and some other fun interactive stuff!!
