Congratulations, Monica & Ben!
This past weekend we had the pleasure of coordinating Monica & Ben's wedding! You may remember these guys from our post about Woodend...the ceremony took place at Dahlgren Chapel on Georgetown University's campus and the reception at the gorgeous naturalist sanctuary.
We should be getting some photos back from Michael Clark but in the meantime these will hold you over!
Caribbean Caterers did a fantastic job on the food, decor, and service:Monica provided these cute square vases filled with coffee beans. Pop in a few votive candles and you're good to go! Just be careful...we found out that coffee beans are rather flammable (who knew?):Linda at Heaven on Earth created all the perfectly 'springtime' floral arrangements:Woodend's mantles are perfect for displaying candles or family photos:Just like Emily & Webb, Monica & Ben chose to have a wish jar in lieu of a guest book:DJ PGee (aka Kim) rocked the house! I hear a lot of wedding deejays and must admit that Kim's one of my favorites. She's really a club deejay so she's got mad style and an eclectic music mix:Margie at Artistic Cake Creations brought this beautiful cake:Monica & Ben's cute sweetheart table before the reception began. See the empty vase? That's the perfect spot for her bouquet to hang out:See that adorable table number? Monica also made menu cards, programs, and place cards that matched the invitation. If you're on the market for some handmade wedding paper products, email Laura to get hooked up with Monica!
We had so much fun with Monica, Ben, their families and friends. I know they had a blast at their wedding and I can't wait to see the photos that Michael took! Stay tuned for some more soon...

Love the cake table!
Those open flames on the mantle are terrifying to me though. Did you secretly have a fire extinguisher stashed in your purse?

OH NO! What happened with the coffee beans?! See, I leave and things fall apart :)
