Giveaway from Rob Holley!

In a partnership with Soiree, talented photographer Rob Holley is offering a free photo shoot to one of our lucky readers! Rob just moved to DC from LA and his style is fresh, modern, and a little bit funky (::just how we like it::).

You can choose to have Rob along for an engagement session, a bridal portrait, some family shots, or even maternity or baby photos. At a $400 value, this would even be a fantastic gift to a friend.

Here's one of my favorite engagement shots from Rob's website:We'll take entries via comments on this blog post until Friday, April 18th at noon. The winner will be selected that afternoon and must be in touch with Rob by the end of April. Here's a couple quick rules:

* DC metro area only. Rob won't drive from Virginia to Nebraska. Sorry.
* Comments MUST include your email address so we can find you.

  • What a great giveaway! I have a 15 month old daughter and over 2000 pictures of her. Unfortunately I am a TERRIBLE photographer, and 1999 of the 2000 pictures have freaky shadows and/or atrocious backgrounds.

  • Wow. What great timing! I'd love to shoot some really "DC" bridal portraits in mid-May, but don't have the time or money to research a photographer here.

    I'd love to win this and get a free session. It would be a win-win - he'd get some great "DC" shots for his portfolio and I'd have the pics I so badly want of my dress and my hometown.

    I'm a born and raised DC native, but am getting married in the mountains of NC and thus have no local photographer.

  • My husband just left for Iraq this week and in his first call to me, he mentioned that he really wished he had a picture of me. I really dislike having my picture taken - I even skipped my high school senior year pictures! I'm the only who's only missing from all the snapshots because I hide from the camera, but I'd really like to bite the bullet, and have some portraits done so he can have his picture. So fair warning - Rob would have a challenge here. :)

  • Oh the possibilities of a photo session, especially with such an AMAZING photographer. I don't think I'd be able to afford photos of these quality as a full-time graduate student, but the possibility to win them is enough to make me giddy.

    I think I'd probably use the session for a bridal session since I couldn't afford to do that otherwise... Or maybe pictures with the OTHER man in my life, my Golden Retriever (he's kind of easier to work with than the groom anyway).

  • Those photos are so gorgeous! My fiance is a recent transplant from LA (well, he moved back to this area after living there). I love Rob's style. We just found out that our wedding budget has to be drastically cut for a bunch of reasons and it would be really amazing to get to have such beautiful engagement pics.
