Venue Spotlight: The Farr House
We recently visited Carol at the Wilson Farr House, which is a lovely historic home in the center of Fairfax. Nestled in the Farrcroft housing development, the community uses this as their clubhouse and also rents it for social functions. It was built in 1915 and can hold up to 130 standing guests or about 50 seated guests. I think this would be perfect for an intimate wedding, a rehearsal dinner, or even a larger bridal shower. For $150/hr, it's not a bad deal! Here are some photos of the place:

The foyer & staircase:To the left we have a living room with a wonderful fireplace. All the furniture here can be moved or left as-is:
Just beyond the living room is this beautiful porch:On the other side of the stairs there is a formal dining room:
And the kitchen just beyond:Upstairs there are a few empty rooms. They call this one the Bride's Room:
