Inspiration Board: Jet-setter

For those couples who love to see the world inspire your wedding with a travel theme. These elements will subtly introduce your passion for travel into the save the dates, invitations, welcome baskets, escort cards, and favors.
Both local and destination weddings work with the travel theme. Save the dates that look like travel tickets will get your guests excited about traveling and the invitation will get them better acquainted with the destination.

When the date comes and they finally arrive, give your guests a taste of the location with welcome baskets full of local flavor - locally made cookies and coffee, a book on area attractions, and a bottle of water to keep them hydrated while touring.

At the reception, keep the theme going with suitcase escort card holders. Other great ideas include a postcard guest book. Order postcards from your favorite destinations and ask your guests to write personal messages. While you are on your honeymoon ask your Soiree wedding coordinator ;) to mail them to you - you and your hubby can reminisce about the great time you had.
