Congratulations, Jim & Tricia!
Jim & Tricia celebrated their nuptials this past Saturday among their closest friends and family. They exchanged vows at historic St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Old Town, Alexandria then spent the rest of the evening partying at the Ronald Reagan Building in DC.
One of my favorite things about their wedding were the centerpieces! Scott at Flowers Unique by Marchand set them up with large branches holding pink and green blossoms. The ceiling in the Pavilion is so high that the 5' tall centerpieces filled in the open space and created a more intimate atmosphere. I'm hoping to get a photograph very soon to show you what I mean.
Here's a wonderful photograph from the amazing Kimberly Brooke, who worked her bum off following this crazy bridal party around! They stopped traffic to get the Capitol dome in the background:
I'm also glad to find another blogger in Kim -- you can read her blog here! Other fantastic vendors that helped make this event possible were Leo at Atlantis Imagery (formerly VideoLeo) and Evan at MyDeejay.com. Special thanks goes to Karen at the Reagan Building, who was on top of her game the entire night and made the planning process a pleasure.
