Congratulations, Christina & Vincent!

Christina and Vincent were our May 31st couple! They exchanged vows at the Mt. Vernon Unitarian Church in Alexandria and then celebrated with 60 of their closest family and friends at the Torpedo Factory Art Center. I took some photos of the reception but unfortunately was too busy at the church to get my camera out. The ceremony was gorgeous and they squeezed in some formal family portraits outside before the skies opened up.

Check out what we did at the Torpedo Factory:And a quick video of the same thing:
This was the first time that John Farr Lighting used their white curtain at the Torpedo Factory:I think it looks splendid! I especially love how the lighting turned it pink:DaVinci's Florist came up with two different centerpieces for Christina. This one is wheat grass with little hot pink and orange roses stuck in it:These tall ones sat upon moss-covered poles and were surrounded by wheat grass at the base. We also used these as the backdrop for the ceremony: Debbie at Cakes by Design made this beautiful cake (it tasted even better than it looks):R&R Catering always has such wonderful displays. Here is their hors d'oeuvre setup:And their buffet arrangement:The piece de resistance was this gorgeous grass table! DaVinci's Florist brought a large circle of wheat grass and placed it on top of the escort card table. The centerpiece is curly willow with multicolored orchids wired on to the branches:The escort cards (made by Soiree) sat perfectly on top of the fluffy grass:Here is a short video of the whole table. In the background you can see and hear The Biscaynes practicing:
Once I have some professional photographs from Heather Z Photography I'll be sure to share them!
